Piering

YEP! Today was piering day! How exciting! They drilled holes in the ground and filled it with concrete. Walked around with Bob (our project supervisor) to measure the depth of the holes. We had 38 lineal metres in our contract, but used only 29.7 lineal metres after measuring. Got to see them fill each hole. Foundation will commence soon. Here's some photos...

Excavation DONE!

Went to the land today in the morning before work and saw the levelling and excavation done! YIPEE!

A 3D Model

So we have the plans and all, and being the designer that i am i put together a 3D model design of our home. I only did the outside though.

This has the colours that we chose as well; tried to get it as close as possible. The only thing i left out on the back of the house was the FC cladding.. oh and the morocco badge paint at the front! But this gave us a good idea of the size and ratio of things!
